We wanted to let you know about this accomplishment and thank-you for your continued patronage and support. Without you, your continued visits to Jacks, and your votes, this award wouldn’t have been possible.

Coincidentally, today is also the second day of “WindsorEat’s Eat Your City 2011″ and Jack’s has partnered up with The Butcher of Kingsville to create a unique culinary adventure. We’ve created a delicious menu for this culinary event that’s not to be missed! The three-course, $25 per person, special dinner menu runs until August 7th.

The Spicy Blue
A beef burger topped with fresh local tomato, lettuce, crumbled spicy blue cheese, cracked peppercorn bacon & a spicy blue cheese mayo… Here for one week! Come & Get it!
Did you know that on Mother’s Day we gave free breakfast to every mom who came to Jack’s? It was a pretty crazy promotion actually. You see, Mother’s Day is the single busiest day of the year for restaurants and certainly one of our busiest days. We had people asking us if they could come at 3am and eat on the roof!
So you can imagine the shock and disbelief when our servers delivered a bill to a table only to have to explain “YES IT’S TRUE! MOM’s Breakfast is Free“ (Mom’s in disbelief..while the person paying for breakfast was dancing on the table!)
What can we say? Jack’s Loves Moms! But you know who else we love?? Dads. Yes, Dad’s rule. In fact, we LOVE Dads so much we thought let’s do it again!
This is our way of showing our appreciation for all the hard-working dads out there. Treat your dad to a breakfast guaranteed to fill him up! (bacon!!!!)

P.S. Here are some answers to a few of the questions we’ve gotten because sometimes FREE seems too good to be true.
1) What’s the scoop? Does dad really eat free? Dad eats free with the purchase of a second breakfast purchased by one or more of his children. Simple. There’s no catch.
2) My kids are away at school, can I still eat free? Sorry, your kids need to be in and enjoying breakfast with you. You’re welcome to borrow your neighbours children. If you come early enough, you could probably have them back before they even know they are gone. Just saying…
3) Can both my father and his father (grandfather) eat free? Yes. Here’s an example…If I bring my dad, and he brings “great granddad”, and we also wheel in Great Great Great Granddad then they can all eat free provided little Billy, Sally, Jesse and Joey come for breakfast too. Get it?

Appetizers- Lobster Sliders with roasted garlic aioli and Jack’s slaw, Shrimp Fritters with a basil-bacon-lemon crème fraiche, Frangelico Mussels with sweet onions, mushrooms and hazelnuts.
Entrees- Beer Battered Halibut with caper-dill aioli and shoestring potatoes, Seafood Shepherds Pie with shrimp, scallops, leeks, mushrooms and asparagus in a rich lemon-dill cream topped with whipped potato, Salmon wrapped in Puff Pastry with spinach and Dijon mustard abed spaghetti squash.
Dessert- Chocolate Chevre Brownie, Vanilla Crème Brulee, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Appetizers- Pulled Pork Sliders with 40 Creek BBQ and Jack’s Slaw, Blackened Beef tips with Blue cheese fondue, Jumbo Chicken Wings with Honey Garlic glaze.
Entrees- Beef Tenderloin Medalion with mushroom/horseradish jus and shoestring potatoes, Brisket and Lamb Shepherds Pie with whipped potato, Panko Crusted Chicken stuffed with Ham and Brie Cheese abed spaghetti squash.
