Welcome to Jack’s Gastropub

Welcome to our very first update on our freshly designed site.  The idea behind this site is simple…..we want to interact with you!

Each week we’ll be posting a new video along with a new contest. The videos will be informative and fun. Simple right?

But we want to hear from you!

Leave us comments, talk to us, share your pictures from Jack’s on the Facebook fan page, let us know what you like and don’t like about Jac’ks… The gloves are off!

We’ll be picking the winner of the $50 gift card on Friday, December 11th and you’ll have to swing by Jack’s to pick up the prize! Just leave a comment below to enter…

And welcome and thanks for hanging out with Jacks.

    We love the way you do the Caesar salads now... what a nice touch.. and as always the breadsticks are to die for... we recently had the meat and cheese platter.. and would get it again in a minute.. nice addition to the menu...
    Whether you go for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out over a couple drinks... Jacks atmosphere is the best and the staff amazing..... !!! (it will become an addiction... so be careful... lol)

    I love Jack's. I think it's one of the best restaurants in Kingsville...but I definitely have to agree with one of the other comments about the new menu, it's not my favourite and I've even found that the food has changed a little bit from what it was before (i.e. perogies & caeser salad). I love the atmosphere and of course the great service.

    Tom and I love Jack's... the atmosphere can't be beat... and we so love ALL the staff.. it has become home away from home for us... BUT.. like buzzkill.... we kinda miss the old bigger menu... Although any meal we have had at Jacks has been amazing... we do miss the variety... (even though we tend to order the same things week after week... LOL) still nice to have that choice.... Thanks for always making us feel like we are part of the family.... see you again soon... Thursday nite has become our favourite nite...

    I was at Jack's last Friday. I always love it there. However I have to agree with the buzz killer because I feel like the menu was too small. My food was very good and I love the fruit wine spritzers and my husband loves the ceasars.

    Interesting new site! Looking forward to the Thursday night local talent! My husband and I grew up in Kingsville and return to eat at Jack's whenever possible, as we often went to the Vintage Goose together when we first started dating. Currently big fans of the Tecumseh Nachos! and have always been a fan of the Creamy Honey Dill salad dressings on the house salad! I wouldn't mind if you started selling that again!

    speaking on behalf of the bands that play there and on behalf of the many bands that are about to. i enjoy playing at jacks because of the friendly laid back atmoshere. jacks staff and managment go out of there way to support and help the entertainment out through out the nite. very generous and very accomodating. keep up the good work

    Just wondering why you stopped doing the free birthday dinner? It's my birthday this Thursday, and I was remembering that last year on my birthday, we decided to go (because of the free dinner), and five other people came with me. Thought it was a good idea last year.

    Ok, can I be a bit of a buzzkill here? I know it won't be popular but let me qualify this by saying I've been a fan going all the way back to the days when the Vintage Goose was over on Pearl Street. Here I go.... we're not loving the new menu. Totally miss the variety that was there previously. Sorry, just had to say it. Still a fan though. Love the new website. :-)

    Not a buzzkill at all. That's the whole point of our new site. We want to hear this type of stuff. We're looking for feedback here.

    We appreciate your honesty. You may have noticed our menu changes frequently so we're always trying new things.

    Let us know what you're missing as we'll be updating our menu again in the Spring.

    We had our first date at Jack's and have made it there as often as possible ever since. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, great place! Proud to have Jack's in Kingsville!

  • Great spot in a great town!

    I was a bit nervous dragging my wife away from the GTA in 2008 to relocate to Kingsville (but let's be real, is it not the nicest town in Canada?!). We were very excited to visit Jack's for the first time shortly after our arrival. We've been back many times, and have brought all of our visitors at least once to experience it as well! Great atmosphere, great food, great staff....and a few craft beers available!

    Keep up the good work!

    Hello Jack's! I last ate at your restaurant about a month ago and loved it, as usual! I had the canadian club - love the combination of the apple with cheddar and bacon. The sandwich was accompanied by my all time favourite - house salad with honey dill dressing. My absolute favourite dressing in the whole world! Sometimes I crave it! The one dish I do miss from your old menu is the Tecumseh Nachos! They are fantastic! Keep up the great work with everything!

    Jack's is the place to be on the week end instead of driving all the way to Windsor. Whenever my friends and I want to get out and socialize (and of course have some good eats), it's automically the place we suggest.
    Keep up the great selection and variety of food!
    (Also it's the place where my husband and I had our first date, and we return every year on our first date anniversary...therefore, I am biased, it was a great beginning!!!)

    Instead of the Spicy Jack, I had a beef dejuis w/ a nice dipping sause. Doctor asked me to cut out all salt - I guess I failed with this delicious meal. Meta had the chicken wrap w/ sweet potato fries. Very tasty too.

    So I just have to comment on Jacks Burgers. They are the best burgers in town! My personal favorite right now is the Spicy Jack Burger and I encourage everyone to give it a try. I love the creativity put into your burgers and look forward to see what you come up with next!

    My family ate at Jack's for the first time tonight and it was delicious! We had cesear salad, macaroni and cheese, the beef dip and the wonderful chocolate chip cookie dessert. Everything was fantastic and we really enjoyed how the items were made a bit more upscale. Your restaurant has an enjoyable atmosphere and our server was great. Thanks for a nice evening on the way to the Festival of Lights!

    I am the Girl Friday. Tom usually takes my order for your Friday Halibut Fish special. My husband and I enjoy Jack's take out after a long drive home from work. It is always fresh, nicely packaged and ready on time. Sometimes our friends might be waiting from a table on a busy Friday night. They tell me that they wish they had thought about take out. Thanks Jacks for finishing off our work week in a great way.
